It is our desire that Valley Christian School families with financial needs–both returning and first-year that have registered–would be offered tuition assistance.
Tuition assistance is currently open for the 2017-2018 school year and is reserved for families with K-8 children. For current families, tuition assistance closes May 1. Since a limited amount of assistance is available, we encourage families to apply as early as possible. Those that receive assistance are responsible to complete 15 additional hours of service above the regular hours of service to VCS during the school year.
VCS partners with the non-profit School and Student Services (SSS) by National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) in our financial aid process. SSS charges a fee for completing the application, currently $48 (subject to change). SSS waives the application fees for the families most in need of financial help. For more information, please download this helpful flyer from SSS–Applying for Financial Aid.
- Go to the SSS step-by-step guide to begin the process. Instructions and a help-line, 1 (800) 344-8328, are provided. Use the school code 3149.
- Once your application is submitted, the school's finance committee processes your application and will contact you concerning whether you qualify, and if so, how much. At this point, you will have the opportunity to decide if the tuition assistance is enough to meet your family's needs.
- You will be guaranteed tuition assistance after you have completed the Application for Admissions and submitted the New Student Application fee or the Continuous Enrollment payment (for current students).
