Valley Christian: A History

Valley Christian School was established in the fall of 1977 by concerned Christian parents who wanted the spiritual growth in their children strengthened by their school. Guided by a very basic principle, "Quality education is based upon learning from a Christian perspective," the school opened with 17 students and 2 classrooms. Although a ministry of New Day Christian Fellowship (Auburn Free Methodist Church),  VCS continues as a non-denominational school, developing Christian character in children ages two through the eighth grade.

Now in its 40th year of existence, Valley Christian School’s dedicated faculty and staff continue to inspire and equip students to excel academically and grow spiritually so that they may become effective leaders of tomorrow. VCS accepts children regardless of church affiliation, race, color, or creed.
